Upon binding with their corresponding antigens, these spheres rapidly form large aggregates, altering the optical properties of the solution by affecting its light scattering or transmission characteristics. This change can accurately reflect the concentration of the antigen being tested within a certain range. The use of these microspheres features straightforward operation, uniform reaction processes, and requires a minimal amount of sample. It effectively reduces potential disturbances from manual operation errors, reagent instability, and environmental variations, ensuring high repeatability and reliability of the test results.
